Did you know you can undo a sent e-mail in Gmail? It’s a lesser known feature, but Google just made it even better than it was before. When it first launched, you were given a 5-second window during which you could hit “undo.” Now that’s up to 30 seconds, Google Operating System Discovered.
The feature is hidden from most users who don’t know where to look, so here’s a quick guide to avoiding social and workplace faux pas with the click of a button. Be aware that the feature is part of Gmail Labs, though. That means it’s still in testing and it might not always work as intended.

• Go to Gmail Lab

Since the Undo Send feature is part of Gmail Labs, you’ll have to navigate to the Gmail Labs page to activate it. Load up Gmail and look in the top-right corner of the page. Between your e-mail address and Settings you’ll see the green Labs icon. Give it a click.

• Enable “Undo Send” and Save Your Change.

 You’ll be presented with a list of features Google is testing in Gmail. Some are very useful and some are just fun. We’ve gone into more depth on all Gmail Labs has to offer in previous articles, but this time we’re here just for the Undo Send feature.You’ll usually find it close to the bottom of the list. We’ve included a picture of it above so you know what you’re looking for. Just select Enable then scroll down and save your changes.

• Customize Undo Send’s Duration

 By default, Gmail gives you a 10-second window of time in which you may undo a sent e-mail. You can change that to five, 20 or 30 seconds by going to Settings (in the top right corner of the main Gmail page, right next to the Labs icon) and finding the Undo Send section inside the “General” tab.

There you can enable or disable Undo Send and change the duration with a drop-down selection box as pictured above.

• Write and Send Your E-mail

 Now that Undo Send is enabled, it works each time you send a new e-mail. You don’t have to do anything unusual beforehand to make it possible to use Undo Send with that e-mail.

• Click the “Undo” Button After You Send

 Now you have either five, 10, 20 or 30 seconds to undo your sent e-mail, depending on what you selected under Settings.As soon as you hit Send, a subtle line of text will appear above your Inbox saying “Your message has been sent.”

It will be accompanied by a few extra options. Among them is “Undo.” Click that within the allotted time and your faux pas will be prevented.Note that you can hit “Z” on your keyboard, the Gmail shortcut for undo.

Just don’t navigate away from or close this page, because once you do, you’ll lose the opportunity to undo your sent message forever.

• “Sending Has Been Undone”

You’ll immediately be taken back to the e-mail composition page, and your e-mail will be in draft form, unsent and ready for further editing — or deletion, if writing it was ill-advised to begin with!

GTalk Contact Notifications: Get Chrome Alerts For Online Gmail Contacts

Gtalk, Google’s messenger application, gives you desktop alerts whenever one of your contacts signs in, you can opt in or out of these alerts. Similarly, if you sign in to chat via Gmail in Chrome, you can opt to get Chrome alerts for whenever some one IMs you. What you can’t do is get an alert when someone signs in. This is a slight drawback that means if you’re waiting for someone to come online, you will need to keep revisiting your Gmail tab to check their online status. GTalk Contact Notifications is a Chrome extension that gives you Chrome alerts whenever one of your contacts signs in and is available for chat.

You must be signed in to Gmail for the extension to work. The extension works for both Google App and Gmail accounts. You should have Gmail open in at least one tab in your browser, the tab doesn’t necessarily have to be active and you can minimize all Chrome windows. Whenever someone signs in to Gtalk, you receive a desktop alert from Chrome.

The notifications by default disappear after 3 seconds, however, you can modify the time for them to disappear or you can set it so that notification remains active until you choose to dismiss it yourself. To edit how long the notification remains on your desktop, go to the extension’s option and define, in seconds, how long it should appear. Reduce the time interval to zero if you want it to remain on your desktop until dismissed. click Save Info to save your changes.

The extension is useful if you sign in to different accounts on GTalk and Gmail and would like to be notified when one of your Gmail contacts signs in. It is also useful if, for some reason, you don’t have Gtalk installed on your system or you’re on a netbook (think Chrome book) and you would like to be notified of online contacts.

How To Login, Access, And Manage Multiple Gmail User Accounts With A Firefox Addon

Do you have more than one Gmail account and would like to manage them in a same place. Logging in to different Gmail accounts over and over again just won’t work since it consumes too much of time. If you are using two different browsers such as IE and Firefox then you can open two separate Gmail accounts respectively, but this doesn’t make any sense. If you are using Firefox, then there is an add-on called Gmail Manager that lets you manage more than one Gmail account easily.

Apart from it’s default multiple Gmail account management, it also shows notifications in case you receive an email in any of your account. Once you have installed the add-on, you won’t find much change in your browser except that you will find a little grayed out Gmail icon on the right side of your status bar.



Click this icon to begin adding a Gmail account, once you click this icon, a Gmail Manager Preferences screen will pop-up as shown in the screenshot below.



If you don’t want it to remember your Gmail password, you can check the Never Save Passwords For Mail Accounts checkbox under Security. Click the Add button, enter your Gmail account details and click OK.


Once you have added an account, you can add more accounts that you would like to manage. You can then select various options by going to Toolbar and Notification  tabs, once done, click OK.



Now look again on the bottom-right side of your browser and you will find your account signed in, move your mouse over it to see full details.



Right-click this icon and select the account that you would like to access.



This powerful Firefox add-on is one of my favorite and I highly recommend it to those looking forward to manage multiple Gmail accounts. One of the best feature that I like in this add-on is the ability to show a small preview of an email without going over to the website. Enjoy!

How To Find The IP Address Of The Sender In Windows Live Mail, Gmail Or Yahoo! Mail

Whenever you receive an email, you receive more than just the message. The email comes with headers that carry important information that can tell where the email was sent from and possibly who sent it. For that, you would need to find the IP address of the sender and this is how you do it.

Windows Live Mail

Log into your Windows Live Mail account with your username and password,Open the inbox.  To display the headers, right click on the email message in the Inbox, and select View Source.



This will open up a new page with a detailed header content.


Now look for Received: from followed by IP address within square brackets


If you have multiple Received: from headers, eliminate the ones that have proxy.anyknownserver.com.

Gmail

Log into your Gmail account with your username and password, Open up the mail. To display the email headers, Click on the Reply drop down box and select Show Original.



 

Look for Received: from followed by the IP address between square brackets [ ].



If you find more than one Received: from patterns, select the last one.

Yahoo Mail

Log into your Yahoo! mail with your username and password, Click on Inbox or whichever folder you have stored your mail, Open the mail. If you do not see the headers above the mail message, your headers are not displayed. To display the headers, click on the drop down Standard Header box and select Full Header.



Look for Received: from followed by the IP address between square brackets [ ]. If there are many instances of Received: from with the IP address, select the IP address in the last pattern. If there are no instances of Received: from with the IP address, select the first IP address in X-Originating-IP.

Access All Your Email Accounts From Gmail

Do you want to manage all your email accounts such as Hotmail, Yahoo, AOL, etc from Gmail? Instead of checking different email accounts on their websites respectively,  you can now manage all your email accounts from Gmail. All you need is to enable POP3 from your Yahoo, Hotmail, or any other account, POP 3 is a protocol that enables your emails to be accessed through any email client like MS Outlook, Outlook Express, or Mozilla Thunderbird etc.

One big drawback of desktop email clients is that you cannot access your emails from public computers due to security concerns. This is where Gmail steps in, apart from it’s default feature(i.e sending and receiving emails from Gmail account), it can be used as an online email client for multiple accounts, which you can access from anywhere in the world.
To being, open your Gmail account and click Settings.

Now navigate to Account tab and click on Add Another Email Account as shown in the screenshot.

This will open a pop-up window and enter your email address there and click Next Step. The best thing about Gmail is that it will automatically detect the POP server and Port as you can see from the screenshot below.

If you want to leave a copy of an email that Gmail retrieves on your other email account, then select the Leave A Copy Of Retrieved Message On The Server checkbox. If you want all your incoming emails to skip Inbox and go straight to Archive then select the Archive Incoming Messages checkbox. After you are done click Add Account.
If you want to be able to send mail as the email you provided, then select Yes as shown in the screenshot below. You can always change the settings later.

In the next and final step enter the name that you want to use when sending mail and you are done.
One big drawback of the email accounts you add is that they will be checked by Google on periodic basis. Even if you don’t want to make Gmail your email-client-of-choice, it’s gigantic space can still be used for making permanent backups. For Example If a user gets a phishing scam asking to update his login information, the senders email is something like xyz@hotmail.com, this would make the victim suspicious and he/she will not pay attention to this email but on the other hand if the email is from security@microsoft.com or security@facebook.com the victim would probably feel that the email is from real sender and he/she would give his login details

What is Mail bombing?

A Mail bombing is sending a mass number of emails to a specific person or system.A huge amount of mail may simply fill up the recipient's disk space on the server or, in some cases, may be too much for a server to handle and may cause the server to stop functioning

Combining Mail bombing with Email 

A few days back when I opened my Gmail ID, I noticed that i had received 5000+ emails those all emails looked that they were from different senders as each email's body was same but the email addresses keep changing, The email was full with abuses but I ignored it because I though some one might be jealous with my success in the field of Ethical Hacking and security

For example: The first email will be 1234@attacker.com the others numbers before @ would change in every email.
I was receiving 100+ emails per second, A normal user would create a spam filter for one of the email 1234@attacker.com but this wont stop the attack as the email 1234@attacker.com is the spoofed email not the real email, so here is how I traced the sender's information in Gmail


Tracing a Senders information in Gmail

You must be curious to know that how I traced senders information in gmail, some of you might ask how to trace sender's information in Hotmail or Yahoo, so I will explain it in upcoming articles in my blog as these are not the part of the article

Here is the step by step method to trace a sender's information in Gmail

1.Open the Email in Gmail you want to trace 

2.Click on More Options and Click on “Show originals”

3. Now a new Window will pop up like this and there see the highlighted area

 4. Check the first line “hormel.redhat.net” ip=209.132.177.30″

That’s The Ip of The sender. now to trace the sender using this ip.

5. Open this site www.network-tools.com

Enter the IP address and click on submit

1. First of all I opened Bin Text

2. Unzip the downloaded Bin Text software in a separate folder.

3. Open Bin Text and browse for the location where you have kept the Hotmail Hacker.exe file that the hacker has sent you.Now Hit Go.

4. Bin Text will scan the whole file and display all the extracted text from Gmail Hacker.exe file.

5. Now scroll down till you find email address and password as I have shown in the screen shot above.

3.Note:'http://www.google.com.pk' is the redirection url,When victim will enter his/her email and password he will redirected to'http://www.google.com.pk'  instead of "http://rafayhackingarticles.blogspot.com"
Now Save it .




4.Create an id in www.110mb.com,www.ripway.com or t35.com.


Note:Lots of people have complaint that they get banned from 110mb.ripway and t35.com so as an alternative you can use ooowebhost.


5.Once you have created an  account on 110mb.com ,then upload both the files in the directory


6.Now distribute http://yoursite.110mb.com/fakegmailpage.htm to your victim once victim logins through this page you will see something.txt file,download the fileto see the password inside



How it works ?
 When a user types a Username  Password in the the text box,The info is sent to "login.php" which acts as a password logger and redirects the page to "LoginFrame2.htm" which shows "There has been a temporary error Please Try Again" in it .So when the person clicks on try again it redirects to the actual URL so that the victim does not know that yoursite is a fake site and gets his gmail.com password hacked

Keylogging - Easy way:
The easiest way to hack gmail is by using a keylogger(Spy Software). It doesn’t matter whether or not you have physical access to the target computer. To use a keylogger it doesn’t need any technical knowledge. Anyone with a basic knowledge of computers can use keyloggers.

First of all free download Winspy keylogger software from link given below:

2. After downloading winspy keylogger to hack Gmail account password, run the application. On running, a dialog box will be prompted. Now, create an user-id and password on first run and hit apply password. Remember this password as it is required each time you start Winspy and even while uninstalling.

3. Now, another box will come, explaining you the hot keys(Ctrl + Shift + F12) to start the Winspy keylogger software.

4. Now, on pressing hot keys, a login box will come asking userid and password. Enter them and click OK.

5. Now, Winspy’s main screen will be displayed as shown in image below:

6. Select Remote at top, then Remote install.

7. On doing this, you will get a popup box as shown in image. Now, fill in the following information in this box.

.user - type in the victim’s name

.file name - Name the file to be sent. Use the name such that victim will love to accept it.

.file icon - keep it the same

.picture - select the picture you want to apply to the keylogger.

In the textfield of “Email keylog to”, enter your email address. Hotmail accounts do not accept keylog files, so use another emailaccount id,my sugession is using a Gmail id

Thats it. This much is enough. If you want, can change other settings also.

8. After you have completed changing settings, click on “Create Remote file”. Now just add your picture to a winrar archive. Now, what you have to do is only send this keylog file to your victim. When victim will open this file, all keystrokes typed by victim will be sent to your email inbox. Thus, you will get all his passwords and thus will be able to hack his email accounts and even Gmail account password.
